Overview:

As a Placement Officer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating successful placements for students within our institution or organization. You will be responsible for building relationships with employers, identifying suitable job opportunities, and supporting students through the placement process to ensure their career success.

Responsibilities:

1. Employer Engagement:

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with a diverse range of employers to understand their hiring needs and preferences.

- Actively seek out new partnership opportunities with companies, organizations, and industry stakeholders.

2. Student Support:

- Provide personalized guidance and support to students in identifying their career goals and securing suitable placements.

- Conduct workshops and training sessions to prepare students for interviews, resume writing, and professional networking.

3. Placement Coordination:

- Match students with appropriate job opportunities based on their skills, interests, and career aspirations.

- Coordinate the placement process, including scheduling interviews, managing application submissions, and tracking placement outcomes.

4. Data Management:

- Maintain accurate records of student placements, including job offers, acceptances, and feedback.

- Generate reports and analytics to track placement trends, identify areas for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of placement strategies.

5. Networking and Outreach:

- Represent the institution or organization at career fairs, industry events, and networking forums to promote placement opportunities and build partnerships.

- Collaborate with academic departments, alumni networks, and other stakeholders to leverage resources and expand placement opportunities for students.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (such as Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or Counseling).

- Previous experience in recruitment, career counseling, or student affairs preferred.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management software.
