We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using PHP, MySQL, and related technologies. You will work closely with designers, front-end developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Web Application Development:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP (Laravel, CodeIgniter, or other frameworks).
• Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code.
• Integrate third-party APIs and web services.

2. Database Management:

• Design, optimize, and manage databases using MySQL / PostgreSQL.
• Write efficient SQL queries and manage database performance.

3. Backend Development & API Integration:

• Develop RESTful APIs and ensure smooth data exchange between systems.
• Work with JSON, XML, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).

4. Performance Optimization & Security:

• Optimize code for performance, scalability, and security.
• Implement security best practices, including data encryption and protection against SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF attacks.

5. Testing & Debugging:

• Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs and performance issues.
• Write unit and integration tests for quality assurance.

6. Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers.
• Maintain proper documentation of code and system processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in PHP and experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony frameworks.
• Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Experience with Linux servers, Apache/Nginx, and cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) is a plus.

Preferred (But Not Required) Skills:

• Knowledge of frontend technologies like Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and SCRUM.
