We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to maintain, support, and optimize our organizations network infrastructure. In this role, you will ensure the reliable operation of network systems, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and assist in designing and implementing upgrades and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, performance, and security.
• Manage network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Maintain and enforce network security practices including firewall rules, antivirus policies, and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform regular backups and recovery testing for network configurations.
• Collaborate with system administrators, help desk staff, and other IT teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Document network changes, topologies, and procedures.
• Stay updated on new technologies and recommend upgrades to improve efficiency and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in network administration or a related role.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
• Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, HP, etc.).
• Familiarity with firewalls, security appliances, and monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of scripting for network automation (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Experience with VoIP systems and unified communications is a plus.
