Role & responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, making necessary repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
• Replace or repair worn or defective parts using hand tools and precision instruments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to ensure efficient operation and product quality.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring that critical components are always available.
• Coordinate with suppliers for the timely procurement of replacement parts and maintenance supplies.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Generate reports on machine performance, downtime, and maintenance activities for management review.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong Knowledge in the maintenance and repair of various machineries.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
