Job description
• Responsible for abstracting key and detailed lease terms from leases of commercial properties in US (including retail, office and industrial properties).
• Compare the terms provided in the lease with other sources including the property rent roll and estoppel.
• Identify reasons for disconnect if any between the terms of lease and other sources along with reason for the same.
• Must have experience in abstracting the economic and non-economic terms of the lease for all commercial property types of US (retail, office and industrial)
• Maintain congenial relations with all in the organization and work cohesively within the team. Promote team spirit among the team members.
Technical Skills
• A graduate / post graduate (preferably in Commerce) with good academic background. A degree in law (LLB)/experience in lease abstract and audit would be an added plus
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read, understand and abstract key terms from the lease including financial and non-financial terms.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and Word
• Should be detail oriented
• Strong commitment to deliver quality products
Interpersonal Skills
• Motivates self
• Exhibits the appropriate level of diplomacy
• Demonstrates the appropriate level of tact when dealing with difficult/stressful situations
• Exhibits respect for management
• Degree/Qualification
• Any graduate/post graduate (preferably with Commerce background). Experience in abstracting leases is a added plus.
