Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Tests & Experiments
- Perform chemical, biological, or physical tests on samples.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment such as microscopes, centrifuges, and spectrometers.
- Sample Collection & Analysis
- Collect and prepare samples (blood, tissue, food, environmental samples, etc.).
- Analyze samples and record results with precision.
- Data Recording & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of experiments and test results.
- Prepare detailed reports for scientists, doctors, or engineers.
- Equipment Maintenance & Safety Compliance
- Clean and calibrate lab equipment regularly.
- Ensure the laboratory follows safety and hygiene protocols.
- Assist Researchers & Medical Professionals
- Support scientists or medical professionals in conducting experiments or diagnostic tests.
- Follow protocols to assist in research projects or patient care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Laboratory Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with lab equipment, data analysis, and test procedures.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in handling samples and recording data.
- Communication Skills: Ability to write reports and communicate findings.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting lab equipment and test inconsistencies.
Work Environment
- Laboratories in hospitals, research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, food testing facilities, or industrial settings.
