The Accountant is primarily responsible for the execution of Mouser s accounting and finance functions on the assigned region(s). These responsibilities include Account receivables, Accounts payables, general ledger, balance sheet& bank reconciliations, payroll, monthly and quarterly reporting, government compliance, audit and tax compliance, management of banks and other financial services.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Perform month-end, quarter-end & year-end closing and preparing schedules and reports, ensuring that the general ledger is well maintained and closed out in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
• Completes and reviews journal posting, account and bank reconciliation work.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation, analytical review on P&L and follow up on the outstanding items.
• Responsible for treasury function including prepare fund transfer documents, cash flow forecast and manage payment status.
• Closely work with local CPA firms and other professional parties regarding accounting and annual audit matters and discuss with Accounting Manager for any issues when needed.
• Prepares and reviews balance sheet schedules and financial statements for audit purpose.
• Maintain and upkeep fixed asset, leasing and insurance schedule and listing.
• Recommends and supports Mouser s business with outside financial and associated legal services for assigned region(s) including banks, payroll services, audit services and attorneys.
• Assures compliance with all governmental requirements for assigned region(s) including, company registration, tax filing, and regulation compliance audits. Responsible for the timely completion of all tax returns and audits for assigned region(s).
• Assists in taxation, legal and company secretarial work.

• Other duties assigned by supervisor.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
• PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet, email, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills in English and Native language.
• Degree holder in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Experience with Multinational corporate (MNCs) accounting is preferred.
• Experience in handling local accounting standards as well as US accounting standards is preferred.
