Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven IT Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our IT business by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with clients, and leading strategic initiatives. You will play a crucial role in identifying market trends, creating partnerships, and ensuring the continued success of our IT services and solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Business Opportunities: Proactively seek new business opportunities and expand the client base by identifying market trends, client needs, and emerging technologies.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders by understanding their needs and providing tailored IT solutions.
  • Sales and Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns to promote IT services and solutions, ensuring the company’s offerings are positioned effectively in the market.
  • Lead Generation: Generate and qualify leads, create sales pipelines, and convert leads into long-term clients by delivering compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects, from pre-sales to implementation, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with clients, ensuring profitable business relationships.
  • Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and technical teams to ensure business goals are met.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, business opportunities, and project status to senior management.
  • Customer Retention: Work with account managers to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and retention through excellent post-sales support and relationship management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in business development, sales, or a related field within the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, solutions, and technology trends (e.g., cloud computing, cybersecurity, software development, IT infrastructure).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a client-focused approach.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tracking software.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and close deals effectively.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and contributing to business growth.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a team player.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in B2B sales within the IT sector is preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and business events.
