Company Description:
We are looking for people to expand the Horticulture Team for NeoRoots Design (www.neoroots.design). NeoRoots was founded by two Women. NeoRoots is now Bangalores premier "Landscaping and Design Services for Outdoor Spaces" company and has executed over 400 projects. We specialize in designing and implementing garden and landscaping services for homes, offices, and hospitality spaces. Our team of professionals are experts in horticulture and architectural design and strive to create practical and easy-to-care-for spaces. We are based in Bengaluru and are looking for a horticulturist to join our team.


Role & responsibilities
Your role as a Horticulturist will be to provide innovative and aesthetically pleasing environments for people to enjoy outdoor spaces, while ensuring that changes to the natural environment are appropriate, sensitive and sustainable. Collaborating closely with other professionals in our team, youll work on a range of projects, with the primary focus on residential projects which can range from apartments, villas to farm houses.
About the Role
You will need to:
• Meet with clients and architect to understand the requirements of the project. Conduct preliminary study of the site (including contours, soil, ecology, buildings, roads, condition, accessibility etc).
• Assess a sites potential to meet the clients specifications.
• Procurement of landscaping elements (for example: plants).
• Coordinate the arrangement of existing and proposed plants, features and structures.
• Present proposals to clients as and when required, deal with enquiries and negotiate any amendments to the final design.
• Carry out site visits and monitor and inspect landscape project progress to ensure that it adheres to plans.
• Ensure deadlines are met.
• Liaise with other professionals on the project.
• Need to make sure of plants estimation.
• Seek new work through marketing activities or by giving presentations.
Preferred Qualifications & Requirements
• Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Horticulture.
• 1 to 3 years of work experience in this field.
• Laptop is compulsory.


Skills Required
• Good design/drawing skills, including computer-aided design (CAD), and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Excellent presentation & communication skills
• Good observation skills and an eye for detail
• Strong time management skills
• Innovative ideas for design standardization
• A practical outlook


Additional details regarding the role
• 6 days working week.
• Location: Bangalore (mandatory work from the office)
• Folks who are available to join immediately or within 30 days preferred


CTC Range: 3-4.2 LPA as fixed plus incentives, depending upon your previous experience and performance in the interview process.
