We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Field Sales Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products/services to new and existing clients. This role requires regular travel to customer sites, networking, and building relationships to expand the customer base and meet sales targets. The Field Sales Representative plays a key role in driving revenue growth through direct sales and on-the-ground marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Building: Identify new business opportunities and cultivate long-term relationships with clients in the assigned territory.
- Sales Presentations & Product Demonstrations: Conduct face-to-face meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations for potential and existing clients to promote the company’s offerings.
- Territory Management: Manage and grow the sales territory by visiting clients, attending events, and identifying new sales opportunities in the field.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and generate leads through cold calling, networking, attending trade shows, and leveraging digital tools.
- Negotiation & Closing Sales: Negotiate contracts, handle objections, and close sales to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets.
- Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to clients by addressing queries, ensuring product satisfaction, and building customer loyalty.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales progress, and pipeline updates in CRM software. Submit regular sales reports to management.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborative Work: Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer service, etc.) to ensure a seamless experience for customers and effective promotion of products.
- Travel: Regular travel to client sites within the assigned territory.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in field sales, preferably in [industry, e.g., technology, healthcare, manufacturing].
- Skills:
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
- Comfortable with frequent travel and managing time independently.
- Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
- Driving License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regular travel to client locations.
