About the role:
This role largely focuses on handling our events in the EMEA market across industries and segments. You will be primarily collaborating with the field marketing team, creating strategies on how to scale our virtual and physical events across specific business verticals, and executing the events end-to-end. You will be working with your counterparts to handle events conducted across various capacities across the states and also the growth team who runs various campaigns and experiments on demand generation.

What youll get to do
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop event strategies for online marketing events (webinars, third-party virtual conferences, round-table, lunch learns, Whatfix hosted events, etc.)
- Deliver end-to-end project management and seamless event operations including contract negotiation, manage vendor/partner relationships, development/management of all project plans and timelines, all with the goal of demand gen, lead capture, and sales targets/revenue in mind.
- Identifying relevant events to sponsor, managing budgets, internal/external stakeholders, coordination with email marketing, ads, and creative design team, engagement activities for the event, swag management, and other event logistics.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Representatives (BDRs) on identifying sources for quality leads, and converting them into sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Automation team to assess the various leads, segregating them according to their engagement, to run nurture campaigns.
- Create a measurement criteria and manage a feedback loop with cross-functional teams to continually measure program effectiveness.
- Good to have knowledge on CRM-Salesforce, Marketing Automation (Pardot, Marketo), Adobe, Microsoft Office/Mac/Google Skills and generally strong presentation skills (including strong written and verbal communication skills)
What you should have
Must-Have:
- 3-5 years of event/field marketing, management, operations, and demand generation experience (preferably in High tech and/or SaaS) managing various-sized programs and budgets
- 3-5 years working with cross-functional teams or stakeholders
- Experience in handling end-to-end Events (experience with Field Events is a bonus)
- Extensive Project and Campaign management expertise
- Cultivate strong relationships with key internal and external partners and display excellent communication skills with all stakeholders
- Exposure to North American/UK/EU SaaS ecosystem and B2B marketing in mature Enterprise application markets
Good-to-have:
- Event strategy experience from program goals to show management
- A strong handle on working with budgets, event contracts, expenses accounts payable
- Ability to multitask, delegate work across virtual teams, and take the lead on several events simultaneously
- Experience from both corporate and event agency (especially with event management and execution)
