To perform and manage routine and non-routine ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) testing in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ELISA testing on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, or clinical specimens as per SOPs.
- Prepare reagents, buffers, and standards required for ELISA procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments used in ELISA testing.
- Document all results accurately in lab notebooks, electronic systems, or LIMS.
- Troubleshoot assay issues and support method development and validation as required.
- Ensure compliance with GMP/GLP and company quality systems.
- Participate in internal and external audits; provide necessary documentation and clarifications.
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized lab environment.
- Assist in training new team members on ELISA techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in ELISA testing (freshers with strong training may also be considered).
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines such as ICH, FDA, and WHO.
- Proficient in handling laboratory equipment like microplate readers, washers, incubators, etc.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in ELISA technique (sandwich, competitive, indirect, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good documentation practices (GDP)
- Basic understanding of quality systems and lab safety
- Teamwork and communication skills
