The DET Trainee is an entry-level position for diploma holders in engineering and technology. The trainee will undergo hands-on training in various departments, gaining practical experience in production, quality control, maintenance, and process improvement. This role aims to develop technical and problem-solving skills, ensuring a smooth transition into a full-time role within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Training & Learning

• Participate in structured training programs covering engineering concepts, machinery operations, and industry best practices.
• Learn to operate and maintain equipment under supervision.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in assigned departments.

1. Production & Manufacturing Support

• Support production activities by monitoring machine operations and assisting senior technicians.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain production logs and reports as required.

1. Quality Assurance & Inspection

• Assist in quality checks and inspection of products as per company standards.
• Learn to use measuring instruments and quality control tools.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

1. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Learn to diagnose faults and perform minor repairs.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities.

1. Process Improvement & Safety Compliance

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental regulations.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of engineering concepts, machinery, and tools.
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, teamwork, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
• Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Office and CAD software (preferred).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a factory/plant environment and handle tools/equipment.
