Role & responsibilities

1. Monitor machines during operation to ensure that they are running efficiently and along with safely.

2. Punch tooling loading, sharpening and maintenance including punch head configuration, station use and identification. Confirming tools are loaded and locked into the punch head.

3. Set up machine by selecting proper program and tooling and nesting, making adjustments to programming as needed.

4. Responsible for creating programs / nesting using software for the machine.

5. Assist in minimizing wasted material, Controlling Rejection and Rework as well as maximum Utilization Of Sheet

6. Troubleshoot machine issues as they arise, working with maintenance personnel to resolve more complex problems

7. Maintain - 5S operation - clean and organized work area, ensuring that machines are properly maintained

8. Maintain all logs, paperwork, and Record production data, including machine settings and production output, for quality control and reporting purposes

9. Inspect, verify material and dimensions of part. Verify quantities of parts to the prints.

10. Inform the team leader of any variation between parts and prints


Preferred candidate profile

1.Sheet Metal industry of Steel Door

2. Prima Power and Salvagnini Punching Operating & programming experience is advantage.
