About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Python to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in test automation, scripting, and software testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Test Automation Development

• Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Python.
• Create, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

🔹 Test Planning & Execution

• Analyze business and technical requirements to define test scenarios.
• Execute automated test cases and report defects.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure application stability.

🔹 Defect Identification & Troubleshooting

• Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Collaborate with developers to debug and resolve issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and suggest improvements.

🔹 Performance & Cross-Browser Testing

• Ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
• Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter (optional).

🔹 Continuous Improvement & Documentation

• Optimize test scripts for better efficiency and coverage.
• Maintain detailed test reports and automation documentation.
• Stay updated on the latest testing trends and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

✔ Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in automation testing using Python and Selenium WebDriver.

✔ Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver & Python.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks (PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker).
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in BDD frameworks like Behave or Cucumber.
