We are seeking a talented and creative 3D Artist to join our team. As a 3D Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations for games, films, simulations, or other interactive experiences. You will collaborate with designers, animators, and developers to bring concepts to life with stunning visuals and optimized assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and materials for environments, characters, props, and vehicles.
• Optimize 3D assets for performance while maintaining artistic integrity.
• Develop realistic textures and shaders using tools like Substance Painter, Photoshop, or Quixel.
• Work with riggers and animators to ensure models are properly set up for animation.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to integrate 3D assets into game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine, or custom engines).
• Ensure assets meet technical requirements, including polygon count, UV mapping, and LODs.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering.
• Participate in art reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance visual quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in 3D Art, Game Design, Animation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush).
• Strong understanding of UV unwrapping, baking, and PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflows.
• Experience with texturing tools (Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Photoshop).
• Knowledge of game engine workflows (Unity, Unreal Engine).
• Ability to create both high-poly and low-poly models for optimized performance.
• Basic understanding of rigging and animation principles.
• Strong artistic skills, including composition, color, and lighting.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience with procedural modeling and texturing (Houdini, Substance Designer).
• Familiarity with shader development and real-time rendering techniques.
• Experience in photogrammetry and 3D scanning workflows.
• Knowledge of scripting (Python, MEL, MaxScript) for automation.
• Experience with motion capture and animation tools.
