Job Overview

To review medical records, provide precise summaries covering all relevant medical facts as per guidelines. Role requires ability to provide medical decisioning/recommendations on severity of musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and neuropsychiatric disorders and its treatment is preferred. Strong medical acumen and US life/disability/health insurance background preferred.


Project Brief

In Medical Summarization process, team of skilled medical professionals review and create a summary of medical records - Bodily Injuries (reviewing medical content from 1-1000+ pages) in a concise format covering key aspects of the medical claims like prior injuries, provider details, diagnosis, diagnostics treatment summary, etc.


Responsibilities and Duties:

Must be efficient with operating computer - Desktops as well as Laptops with modern tools and technologies essential to work. Typing speed of minimum 25words/min with >/= 90% accuracy.
Must have good communication skills – written and spoken English.
Would be responsible to go through medical packages or extensive medical records, comprehend and provide summaries.
Must have good comprehension skills and be able implement the SOP guidelines.


Qualifications:
Education: bachelor’s degree in medicine – BAMS, BHMS, BDS, Bachelor Physiotherapy, B. Pharm, BSc Nursing & MSN (master’s in nursing) with sound knowledge of medical terminologies.

Experience – 0-1 year

Specific skills: Ability to provide opinion/recommendations on necessity of treatment considering the severity of injuries/disorders mostly related to musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and neuropsychology. Personal characteristics – Critical thinking and analytical skills, Commitment to full schedule with minimal absence, computer skills and Microsoft working knowledge must (for freshers).
